TRANMERE Rovers return to action tonight (Tuesday, September 13) following the postponement of the weekend’s football programme as a mark of respect for the Queen’s death.

In line with every game taking place during the country’s period of mourning, the national anthem will be played at Prenton Park along with a minute’s silence before kick-off. Players will also be wearing black armbands.

Tranmere will look to get back to winning ways after suffering a 2-0 defeat to table toppers Leyton Orient last time out.

But boss Mark Hughes' Bradford City will prove a formidable test for Rovers having gone unbeaten in their last three games and only conceded six goals so far this campaign.

Talking to The Telegraph & Argus about Rovers, Hughes said: “It’s never easy going there. They’ve changed a few of their formations and personnel so it will be interesting to see how they line up and go up against us.

“They are in a little run of results that they won’t be too happy with but they’ve got an experienced manager and he’ll be wanting to get a tune out of them like he usually does.”

Rovers remain without Tom Davies, Luke Robinson, Kyle Jameson and Charlie Jolley. Kieron Morris is set to return to full training this week whilst Paul Glatzel and Dynel Simeu are avaialble for selection.
