AN UNBEATEN knock of 131 by Henry Dobson saw Oxton pull off a great win at Nantwich in the Cheshire County Premier League.

Jordan Collier’s 4-71 had helped dismiss the hosts for 247 before Dobson and Matthew Jones (65) built a third wicket partnership of 129 as Oxton chased down the target for the loss of eight wickets.

Neston reached 197 all out at Didsbury with Luke Camden’s 40 the highlight. The visitors used eight bowlers but were unable to stop the hosts claiming a seven-wicket victory.

Steve Graham (40) top scored as Port Sunlight were bowled out for 140 by Hale Barns in Division Two with the hosts reaching the target for the loss of six wickets.

Upton remain bottom after a three-wicket defeat at Stockport Georgians after the visitors were dismissed for 140. Philip McGowan’s 3-40 was the only highlight.

Maritime’s quest for promotion from Division Three continued with a five-wicket win at Ashley. Vensakar Kanthiraj took 5-46 and Vishal Barigela 4-73 as the home side were dismissed for 209 before Kanthiraj completed a brilliant performance by hitting an unbeaten 105.
