UNIVERSAL Windows will play Claughton Hotel in the Wirral Junior Cup Final.

Goals from Scott Clifton and Anthony Moore steered Windows to a 2-1 semi-final victory over FC Borough, who replied through a well-taken Gary Potter goal.

Claughton Hotel had Andy Ward, 2, and Chris Bowe on target as they edged past Kelma 3-2.

In Division One, Parkfield BA cemented second place with a 2-0 win over Willows. Ian McGragh took the plaudits with a neat brace.

Elsewhere, Sports Bar emphatically won the mid-table encounter with AC Brookley 9-2. Steve Aurin struck a fine hat-trick and was supported by braces from Mark Lynch and Alan Dean.

Division Two saw Future retain top spot with an excellent 6-2 triumph at Tower. Prolific Paul Devey notched another four goals, with Billy Devey and Graham Reid also registering. Alan Williams converted two consolation penalties for the Tower.

Second-placed FC Village comfortably defeated third-placed Avenue 4-0. Darren Eaton led the way with three goals and Nick Horton also chipped in with his first goal of the season.

The battle of basement clubs Bebington Rovers and Wirral Wanderers ended all square in a 3-3 draw. Jay Lloyd, Scott Champion and Barry Millman were all on target for Wanderers.

Elsewhere, Paul Gunderson notched his 18th and 19th goals of the season in Central Park's 2-0 victory over Bronze Social.

Strikes from John Morrell and Dave McFadden helped Wellington to two much-needed points in an excellent 2-1 win at Trafalgar Rangers.
