ROWAN Shelton took 5-68 as Neston dispatched Oulton Park by seven wickets in the Cheshire County Premier League.

Ashley Davis also claimed 4-46 as the visitors were dismissed for 192 before both Jamie Wilson (69) and Dom Smith (67no) hit half-centuries.

Brooklands racked up 245 all out at Oxton for whom Jordan Collier (3-63) was the pick of the bowlers. Collier completed an excellent match with an unbeaten 54 as the hosts finished on 197-7 in a drawn game.

In Division Two, Ashton-on-Mersey closed on 257-7 at home to Upton with Liam Sundve taking 3-76. The target proved too much for the visitors who were dismissed for 163.

Mobberley amassed 272-6 against Port Sunlight but an unbeaten century from Simon Melberzs (111no) ensured the visitors left with a share of the points as they closed on 219-8.

Maritime’s Thisal Jayawardana took 3-27 in their Division Three clash with Runcorn who closed on 182-9. Vensakar Kanthiraj (61no) and Joseph Mickel Akeem (60no) led a successful run chase completed in just the 20th over for the loss of three wickets as the Wirral outfit went second in the table.
