FOLLOWING on from their exploits in reaching three cup finals last season, Cammell Laird 1907 FC of the North West Counties League First Division South have announced a number of friendly pre-season fixtures.

Saturday, July 9 sees the side playing at home against City of Liverpool FC with a 3pm kick-off. This fixture will coincide with the opening of the new club premises, so a good crowd is expected.

Thursday, July 14 sees Lairds travel away to play AFC Liverpool at St John Bosco with a 7pm kick off.

On Saturday, July 16, Lairds entertain Warrington Rylands at home with a 3pm kick-off.

On Tuesday, July 19, Tranmere Rovers FC will be providing a select XI to visit Kirklands with a 7.30pm kick-off.

This exciting game will be followed by a fixture against close rivals Vauxhall Motors at home on Saturday, July 23 with a 3pm kick-off.

A cash-only entrance fee will be payable for all of Lairds’ home fixtures including friendly fixtures.

On the opening day of the new season, Saturday, July 30, Lairds will travel away to Eccleshall for a 3pm kick-off.

Their first home league fixture will be on Tuesday, August 2 against Cheadle Town with a 7.45pm kick-off.

Kirklands will be renamed as the KR Couriers and Transport Ltd Stadium for the duration of the 2022/23 and 2023/24 seasons under a new sponsorship agreement with the new Ellesmere Port-based courier service.
