JASGA FC maintained their 100% record as they went top of the Wallasey Sunday League First Division after bowling over PLCCFC 6-1, writes Tom Potter.
Stuart Speed scored four times, with a twenty-minute hat-trick inside the opening stages of the game. Ben Speed added a single as did Josh Malone on his debut.
Vineyard climbed into the top three following their hard-fought 1-0 victory against Liscard Panthers with a late headed goal from Ben Hawitt. Sharing the points were Eastham Rangers and Vale Athletic after they battled out a 3-3 draw. On target for Rangers were Martin Marshall with a brace and Ryan Hodgson with a single. Vale replied through Liam Kelly, Frank Ward and Owen Reilly.
Shore Villa inflicted a first defeat on Ellesmere Port Red Lions to retain top spot in the Second Division following their 4-0 success in which Connor Hallwood (2), Blagoy Rodov and Jamie Merrick scored the goals in a good team effort.
Trident stay second after their 3-0 defeat of Wallasey Wolves as Tyler Ward, Caston Bell and a twice taken penalty from Stephen Teale registered.
North West Harriers shared the spoils with Shore Villa Athletic as they drew 3-3 thanks to Connor Reeves bagging a fine hat-trick and the responses came from Dillon Taylor and Adam Ormond (2.)
Oxton Celtic fought back from two down against Park Royal to claim the points in a 3-2 win, due to a brace from Tim Hughes and one from Jack Hayne.
