The only fixture in the Mike O’Sullivan Garages First Division saw JASGA FC move level top with Sheridans FC after beating them 4-2 in an end-to-end tussle.

JASGA are now the only unbeaten team in the division.

On target for Sheridans were Leon Jones and Shaun Burgess, with Daren Pritchard (2), Ben Speed and Adam Walker bagging the goals for JASGA.

Plenty of goals came in the Moreton Alarms Supplies Second Division as North West Harriers recorded their best result so far when notching double figures versus Bromborough Athletic. Netting trebles were Connor Reeves and Riley Jones with Callum Murphy adding a double and Cameron Bratherton, Luke Kenyon and Andy Taylor each scoring a single.

Oxton Celtic fought out a 1-1 draw with Primrose FC, thanks to Ben Sadler finding the net and Adam Walker replying for Primrose.

Despite an excellent goal from Sean Galloway, Wallasey Wolves were shot down in a 9-1defeat against the One O’oclock Gun, who had Morgan Galer (3), Wayne Gibbons (2), Jamie Edwards (2), Liam Keating and Nathan Johnson as their marksmen.

Also on the goal trail were Shore Villa, who beat derby day rivals Shore Villa Athletic 7-1, as Connor Hallwood, Blagoy Rodov and Ben Reilly all scored doubles, with Mark Lake adding the extra. Dean Scott fired the lone response for Athletic.

Action from the Wirral District FA Amateur Cup 1st round saw both Bromborough Town and Park Royal beaten in penalty shoot-outs after drawing the 90 minutes. Town drew 2-2 with Prenton FC thanks to efforts from Jack Smyth and Jack Cooke and Royal drew 4-4 against Vauxhall Motors Vets due to Alex Ramsay and Jordan Major firing a brace each.

Vineyard lost 0-2 and Wallasey Wanderers lost 1-2 despite Alex Lowe getting on the score sheet.

Liscard Panthers did progress after their 7-4 success over Eastham Rangers, who had Jordan Crowder firing a hat-trick and Martin Marshall adding a single in real thriller of a game.
