The restart of the Wallasey Sunday League was greeted by pouring rain, which badly effected the scheduled Wirral District FA Amateur cup 1st round fixtures.

The two that did take place saw JASGA FC defeat Wallasey Wolves 7-1 as Adam Walker, Ben Speed, Steve Kelly, Tom Evans, Jay Davies, Leo Jones and Kieran McCabe found the net, with the lone reply coming from Cedric Mathe.

Rockpoint FC also progressed after their hard fought 3-2 success over Castrol Club thanks to a gaol apiece from Dave Bowe, Kyle Bennett and Jason Rigby.

The only fixture to play in the Moreton Alarms Supplies Second Division resulted in a 6-1 verdict for West Kirby United as they overcame Shore Villa.

George Davies netted a terrific treble and Josh Sutton, Adam Pettitt and Ben Smith all claimed singles to move them up into third place. Ben Riley notched the only reply for Villa.
