In the Queensferry Sports Premier Division Blacon Youth Res beat Groves Athletic 5-3 with goals from Zak Threadgold (2), Danny Mongan, Charlie Cottis and Dean Disley. Groves’ goals came courtesy of Stephen Cane, Ryan Bailey and Sam Fisher.

Joe Thompson netted twice, as Chester Nomads III recorded their fourth draw of the season after their game with Upton JFC Youth in the Olympic Trophies Championship A ended 2-2.

Black Horse move top of the Olympic Trophies Championship B after a 7-1 win over Poulton Vics FC. Will O’Leary lead the charge for Black Horse scoring four, followed by Iain Colligan, Callum Harrison and Steve Prance. In the Chester & District Challenge Cup Upton JFC are the toast of the CWFL after seeing off West Cheshire One side Chester Nomads.

The game ended 2-2 after full time with the Upton goals coming via Sam Brownlow and Jack Hill.

In the resultant penalty shootout out Upton converted all their spot kicks with Tom Berry, Dan Dickerson, Tom Senior, Joe Muir and Jack Hill keeping their cool under pressure and slotting home.

Chester Nomads only managed to convert 3 of their tries at goal, leaving a jubilant Upton to celebrate a memorable victory.

In the Crewe & District Challenge Cup Winsford Saxons put up a brave fight in their away game to Congleton FC Reserves before going down 5-0.

In the CWFL Link Up Monday Night Flexi Division at Ellesmere Port Sports Village Ellesmere Port Villa beat Unathletico Madrid 4-0 whilst Whitby XI Beat Ship Argyle 2-0.

On Friday night in the CWFL Link Up Flexi Division at Warrington Winwick Athletic had Cameron Jupp to thank for all their goals in their 3-1 win over Unknown FC.

The nights other game ended in a 3-3 draw between Albion Sports FC and UoC Warrington FC. Lee Blackledge, Ryan Wilde and Chris Hunt were the Albion scorers with the UoC replies coming from Dewy Griffiths, Aditiya Nambiar and Bradley Amos.

At Northwich in the CWFL Link Up Flexi Division Moss Farm Towers FC beat Weaver Fever 1-0. In the nights second game Club Carter and AFC Broadhurst fought out a 1-1 draw, Daniel Paelser and Steve Harris the respective scorers..

At the CWFL Link Up Flexi Division Vauxhalls CM Chesternazionale had Josh Metcalfe, Jed Otis and Mark Reid on the score sheet in their 3-1 win over The Youth FC.

Ashton Phoenix put on a fine performance as they beat Port FC 4-0 thanks to strikes from Matt Hayes, Dean Carter, Terry Watts and Michael Cooper.
