Vauxhall kept up the winning start to the season with a comprehensive home triumph against Abbey Hulton United.

New defender Stuart Jones went straight into the starting line-up just two days after signing and his impact was instant as on the twelfth minute an attempted clearance fell to the edge of the box, allowing him to bury it on the volley.

As time passed the visitors got their foot in the game with their most promising chance being disallowed for offside.

However, it didn’t take long for Noah Robson for score an impressive brace within four minutes - his second being the stand out one after an instinctive volley from 12 yards out.

Vauxhall’s concentration swiftly changes to Alsager tomorrow evening (October 20) with away supporters being permitted to travel, as they hope to make it five wins out of five.
