Kane Wilson has extended his loan stay with Tranmere Rovers for the rest of the 2019/20 season.
Defender Wilson, 19, made nine appearances following on from his temporary switch from West Bromwich Albion in August, before returning to the Baggies to receive treatment following an injury.
But he has now returned to Prenton Park, as he links up with Micky Mellon’s men for the remaining months of the Sky Bet League One campaign.
Speaking to the club's website, he said: “I’m buzzing. It was something I wanted to get over the line and it’s finally done so I can get back down to work now.
“I think it’s the perfect time to sign, coming off the back of a result like that and obviously going into the Manchester United game, it’s an exciting time for the club.”
