PAOLOS FC served up another fine performance in Division Two of The Houlihan's Birkenhead Sunday Association Football League with a 4-0 win at Woodchurch Rovers.

A seven-goal thriller between FC Tranmere (Adam Walker 2, Greg Sandals) and Eagle & Stirrup FC (Kieran Cartwright, Kieran Jones2 and Jason Farrell) saw the Upton side take points.

CAD Athletic (Luke Wynne, Josh Hatton 2, Hayden Quarry) also earned an away win at Barcodes FC (Neil Davies, Liam Headford).

Heygarth FC are once again the early pacesetters in the Premier Division with a neat 4-1 success at Rock Ferry Social (Joel Hughes) thanks to four individual strikes from Ki Hughes, Josh Major, Steven Forbes and Khalid with seven points out of a maximum nine.

This season's draw specialists Bushell Grange Athletic drew their third consecutive game 2-2 at Lancelyn Glenavon (Ben Glover, Gino King).

Leon Jones claimed a fine double for Bushell's.

Dock AFC left it late to secure their second straight win (Ricci Neil 2, Perrie Black and Dean Nunn), 4-1 against basement Club Birch Tree FC (Matthew Easterbrook).

Last season's champions Queens Park (Leon Detlaff, Anthony Gardner) also registered a second maximum points haul over Great Float Sports & Social (Lawrence Harris) 2-1.

Beechwood returned with their third win of the season to head Division One with nine points after defeating Shaftesbury Youth (Declan Ivan, Lewis McKnight) 3-2, thanks to a last-minute winner from Jamie Edwards with Scott Billington also delivering a brace.

AFC Shaftes were also beaten by a last-minute effort from Corsair's Jedda Bayley.

A hat-trick from Jay Harvey supplemented by a goal from Nick Wakefield for Rivacre FC was enough to maintain their 100% start to the season after defeating Telegraph FC (Joe Foxley, Scott Wright, Mark Goodacre) by the odd goal in 7 -3.

Lions FC (Matty Kerr, Ameel Al Gamri, Ricky Harrison, Dave McElroy, Steve Dutton) got off the mark with three points with a high scoring 5-3 result over Ellesmere Port Athletic (Chris Georgeson 2, John Britton).

New club Neston United secured a second straight win against fellow new boys Eastham Rangers Jets registering a fine 6-1 success with Liam Jeacock leading the way with a double supported by singles from Mark Nokes, Nick Jones, Matty Tarbuck plus an OG.

MSC Eastham (Dylan Taylor, Brandon Thomas, Brandon Frost) head The Third Division after posting a narrow 3-2 victory against Rangers Breaks (Scott Christensen, Mark Fitzpatrick).
