Guiseley . . . 2 Vauxhall Motors . . . 3

VAUXHALL stormed into the final qualifying round of the FA Cup, thanks to a stunning solo goal from top scorer Paul Taylor - in the third minute of injury time!

It was no more than the Motormen deserved, for had it not been for home 'keeper Dickinson they would surely have booked their passage long before added time.

Taylor also had a hand in both of Vauxhall's other two goals. Unfortunate to be one down at the break, man-of-the-match Tom Field levelled the scores on 58 minutes and six minutes later Anthony Wright converted a rebound after Taylor's overhead kick came back off the bar, to give them the lead.

Guiseley, riding high in the Unibond Premier Division, then drew level with 20 minutes left and this cracking tie looked set for a replay until Taylor pounced late on.

This Saturday, the Motormen finally return home to Rivacre Park, when they play host to Leigh RMI in the Blue Square North - and you could be there by bringing this newspaper with you to the game to gain entry for just £5 (adults, £3 concessions, with all accompanied children free).

Next Tuesday (October 23) newborn AFC Telford United visit Rivacre Park (kick-off 7.45pm).
