ST Saviours FC are the latest CWFL side to show the quality of football from within the league after a stunning 3-1 win over West Cheshire League side Heswall Reserves in the semi-finals of the Wirral District FA Amateur Cup.

The final will be an all-CWFL occasion and contested by the Savs and Ellesmere Port FC who also beat WCL opposition in their Semi Final game.

The final will be held at Villa Park, home of Ashville, on Easter Monday, April 22 (11am kick off). All spectators are more than welcome.

Sutton Athletic made the most of St Saviours cup exploits be regaining top spot in the CWFL Queensferry Sports Premier Division with a 1-0 win over Shaftesbury Youth thanks to a Tom McGill goal.

Adam Collins fired home the only goal of the game for Helsby as they beat Ellesmere Port FC 1-0.

Helsby, who are still active in three cups, have a five-game advantage on the top side and the Green and Whites will need to be on top form for their end of season run in.

Upton JFC beat Blacon Youth Reserves 3-1, thanks to a Tom Berry penalty and a brace from Danny Evans.

Groves Athletic are the form team in the CWFL Olympic Trophies Championship making it 13 games unbeaten now in the league.

Goals from Gary Handley, Ryan Bailey and George Patchett (2) gave them a 4-2 away win to Christleton Argyle keeping them in second place, seven points behind leaders Crossway with a game in hand.

Third-place Princes Villa beat Hoole Rangers 3-1 while Helsby Reserves beat Rossmore Rangers by the same scoreline, Dom Bazley (2) and Callum McCaffrey their scorers. Ian Johnson replied for Rossmore.

Jordan Fulton (3), Johnny Platten and Tom Thurston were all on target for Chester Nomads III in their 5-0 win over AFC Park North.

Hoole Rovers beat FC Duddon Utd 3-0 with goals from Andy Edwards and Shan Gillan (2). Mark Richards (2), Warren Kelly, Josh Elverstone and Dean Disley combined for Elton Athletic in their 5-1 win over Orange Athletic, Olly Ormrod their scorer.

In the CWFL Tarvin Vets West Division Capenhurst Villa Vets beat Higher Bebington Vets 3-1 and Neston Nomads Vets beat Ellesmere Port Town Vets 5-1.

Luke Guest bagged the consolation for the Town.

Over in the CWFL Tarvin Precision Vets Division East Dee Rangers Vets beat Frodsham Park JFC Vets 6-3.
