ONLY two games survived the atrocious weather after intervention from The Houlihan's Birkenhead Sunday Association Football League Management Committee saw a few games switched onto private grounds and all-weather pitches.
Sadly, the private grounds were not playable, Queens Park moved up to second place in The Premier Division after a fine double from Stewart Jackson to defeat FC Bidston 2-0.
Queens Park are three points behind the leaders with two games in hand on Heygarth FC.
Heygarth only have one game left to play while current Champions Dock AFC will also have a big say where the Championship descends, its a very interesting three way tussle.
The second game that took place was an Invitational Cup group A game between Ellesmere Port Athletic (Charlie Jones, John Britton) and Telegraph FC, who took the Honours 4-2 thanks to a single strike each from Daniel Kendall, Joe Foxley, Dan Price and Jim Breheney,
