THE only domestic game to survive the heavy weather in The Houlihan's Birkenhead Sunday Association Football League was in Division Three with a fine 2-0 win for MSC Eastham over Victoria Colts in Division Three.

The Eastham outfit locked all three points, thanks to strikes from Neil O'Toole and Harry Brassey.

Queens Park dipped out of The Football Association National Sunday Cup to Mayfair in a third-round tie with a 2-0 reversal.

Queens Park now play all their home games on the artificial pitch at Rivacre Road the home of Vauxhalls Sports and Social Club.

In The Premier Division, Heygarth FC are in pole position with 20 points and Queens Park are hot on their heels four points behind with two games in hand.

One more round of league games will see the division two thirds complete.

FC Bidston and Dock FC will also be in the in mix when the business end of the season come to a conclusion.

In Division One, Bushell Athletic head the table with 20 points having drawn and lost two games.

In second place, and current favourite, is Lancelyn Glenavon who are the only team in the whole league with a 100% record. They are two points behind and have four games in hand. 

The division is about to approach the half way mark.

Five clubs in Division Two are in the mix; Local rivals Beechwood, who are leading the table having only dropped five points and Corsair have dropped the same but Corsair have three games in hand. 

The other three clubs are Stirrup Sports & Social, Franklyn's and South Rangers Athletic.

Paolos FC are unbeaten in Division Three, having won every league game bar two and they will aim to continue to deliver the points. 

Barcode, Woodchurch Rovers and Rangers Breaks hope to have a say when the trophies and promotion places are up for grabs at the end of April.
