THE league form of Birch Tree FC went out of the window in the Wirral District Premier Cup Second Round after a superb four-goal haul from Kieran Hamm to knock out Ellesmere Port Athletic (Stephen Lewis) 4-2.

Also into the Third Round will be Dock AFC who had Ricci Neil on target with a brace and a further strike from Jay Clare who inflicted a 3-2 defeat on Bushell Athletic (Harry Whate, Andy Cook).

They will be joined by Neston Nomads, who had to thank Jack Lloyd with a double strike and a single from Lewis Clarke who disposed of fellow Premier Division rivals FC Bidston (Corey Scarisbrick, James Atherton) 3-2.

The surprise result in The Wirral District Football Association round two saw Wirral FC inflict a 5-3 defeat on CAD Athletic, with Matt Lydiate leading the way with a hat-trick supplemented by goals from Ash McCoy and Tom Williams.

AFC Shaftes registered their place in the next round with efforts from Lee Griffiths and Dan Smith to win the odd goal in three at Upton FC 2-1.

Oval FC recorded their first points of the season in Division Two with John Skipsey and Michael Neish netting the all important strikes over Franklyn FC.

Evergreen Laurence Whelan hit a fine treble for MSC Eastham with a further strike from Keith O'Toole beating AFC Tima 4-1.
