CAD Athletic lifted the Tony Smith Memorial Trophy with late a superb dramatic strike in extra-time from Hayden Quarry against cup holders Telegraph to win 1-0 in the 119th minute.

Back-to-back wins for Wirral Radio (Tom Williams (2), Liam Blundell, Matt Lydiate) including a 4-0 midweek success over Barcodes and a comfortable 4-1 win on Sunday with Matt Lydiate notching a fine hat-trick supported by an effort from Ash McCoy was enough to lift the Division Three Title as close rivals Stirrup S&S lost a vital midweek game to Rangers Breaks (Paul Murray, Lewis Stanley, Chris Carress) 3-2. 

Rangers Breaks (Paul Murray, Lee Burns, Peter McNulty, Joe Cook) also recorded two successive wins with a 7-1 scoreline on Sunday, efforts from Paul Devey (2), Philip Hudson and John Duddy got Stirrup Sports and Social back to winning ways, who are now looking to claim the runners up spot and are aiming to lift the Jimmy Core Trophy on Tuesday Evening.

Midweek saw Birch Tree claim their second Trophy of a possible treble in The Presidents Cup, running out 3-1 winners against PSV.

It was a very close game right up to the final whistle with PSV pushing for an equaliser only for Birch Tree to break away and sealed the victory in the last few seconds with the all important third goal. 

On the mark for Birch Tree was a double from Kieran Hamm and Adam Coulls.

A solitary strike from Adam Smith was enough for Queens Park to claim their place in the Tony Houlihan League Memorial Challenge Cup Final 1-0 against Rock Ferry Social, while in the other semi final it took a penalty shootout after both Dock (Carl Clampitt and Ryan Nicol) were locked at 2-2 after extra-time.

The Final between two of the League's giants is tonight (Wednesday, May 9) at Kirklands the home of Cammell Laird 1907 (7pm kick-off).

With 14 League games still to be played in Division One, there is the possibility of four teams still in the hunt for the title and promotion to the Premier Division. 

PSV Athletic (Dale Morris, Mark Reid, Adam smith, Jamie Brown) stayed in the contention with a 4-2 success over Bushell Athletic.

Lancelyn Glenavon posted a 3-1 result at Shaftesbury Youth, thanks to a brace from Danny Lamb and supported by a strike from Harry Ashcroft 3-1.

Action from Division Three saw Ellesmere Port Athletic take maximum points with a 6-0 win at basement club FC Vaults in midweek and accounted or Poulton Victoria Youth on Sunday.

On the scoresheet in midweek were John Britton (2), Nicky Monoghan (2), Jay Shuttleworth and Paul Williams.

Sunday's scorers were Nicky Monoghan, Michael Cooper and Kyle Huish to stay in the mix and have games in hand.
