THIS season's Victory Cup Final in the Birkenhead and Wirral AF League will be contested by AC Brookley and Bird in Hand.

AC Brookley overcame Sports Bar on penalties after an epic 4-4 draw. Doubles from Steve Aurin and Jay Law had put Sports Bar in control until the 120th minute, when Steven Abbot's third of the match took the game to the dreaded penalty shoot-out.

In the other semi-final, Bird in Hand narrowly overcame Beechwood Social 2-1.

Division One action saw Windsor Perch Rock eclipse Admiral 4-3 in a thriller. Francis Tollman led the way for Windsor with a neat brace.

Steve Kato fired two goals as Manor climbed off the bottom of the table with an impressive 4-1 victory over Parkfield BA.

A goal apiece from Chris Amis and Phil Hudson ensured that Black Horse Borough remain in second spot after beating Universal Windows 2-0, while New Ferry overcame Kelma by the same scoreline.

In Division Two, Big House sent a message out to their title rivals with a thumping 5-1 win over FC Village. John Cupid was on target twice.

However, Black Horse Wallasey remain in top spot after running out 4-0 winners against Bebington Rovers.

Trafalgar (Andy Evans, Eddie Atkins, Craig Pownall, Ben Sherlcok) kept the pressure on the leaders with a narrow 4-3 victory over Central Park.

Braces from James Atherton, Jimmy Hodgeson and Steve Shelly helped Claughton to a resounding 8-3 win against Bronze Social.

A penalty from James Brown, plus a strike from Nathan Jones, saw New Dock overcome title rivals Future.

In other action, Tower scraped past Upton FC 3-2 and Wirral Wanderers beat Wirral LFC 3-0.
