AFTER a string of away games, and only one point to show for their recent efforts, Vauxhall Motors now need to capitalise on a run of four straight home fixtures in the Nationwide Conference North to avoid being dragged into a relegation dogfight.
The first of those is on Saturday when Moor Green visit Rivacre Park (kick-off 3pm). Then come high-flying Kettering Town the following weekend and a week on Tuesday (March 6) old adversaries Barrow arrive at Rivacre Park for a re-arranged fixture.
Motors striker Lee Furlong is suspended for all three of these games following his harsh dismissal at Farsley a couple of weeks ago.
Manager Carl Macauley should otherwise be picking from a full strength squad going into the first of those matches against Birmingham side Moor Green this weekend, knowing that they need to start putting some points back on the board to keep the clubs below them at arm's reach.
