BY the time Vauxhall Motors travel to Alfreton Town in the Nationwide Conference North on Saturday, Carl Macauley's side will have played four more league games away from home than at their own Rivacre Park.
It will leave Motors with eight home fixtures to play from their remaining 12 matches of the campaign, to ensure that they do not slip into a relegation dogfight after a decent start to the season. Suspensions have hit Macauley's squad hard of late - and striker Lee Furlong now faces a four-match ban following his harsh dismissal at Farsley Celtic two weeks ago.
The postponement, due to a frozen pitch, of last weekend's home fixture against Redditch United is still to be re-arranged
