Vauxhall Motors . . . 1
Harrogate Town . . . 3VAUXHALL wideman John Lawless, missing from the Rivacre Park, Eastham, club since the end of December, has joined Unibond Division One club Colwyn Bay.
Lawless had been enjoying his best spell for the Motormen leading up to Christmas since his arrival from TNS a year ago, but then mysteriously never appeared after the turn of the year. That left manager Carl Macauley with little option but to sell him when a decent offer came in from the Welsh club. Meanwhile, a catalogue of errors and decisions saw Vauxhall suffer a Nationwide Conference North defeat at home to Harrogate Town on Saturday.
Substitute Lee Furlong netted for the Motormen with a sweet lob.
Macauley's squad need to pick themselves up for Saturday's trip to Farsley Celtic.
