Vauxhall Motors . . . 2
Worksop Town . . . . 0CARL Macauley's Vauxhall Motors completed a league double over Worksop Town at Rivacre Park on Saturday with a comfortable 2-0 success.
With Lee Furlong over his virus and Lee Woodyatt and Anthony Wright back after injury, the Motormen are looking good to launch a challenge for a play-off spot in the Nationwide Conference North.
A first home goal of the campaign from striker Thomas Rooney and a second-half penalty from captain Stephen McNulty kept the Motormen well in the hunt - they are now just six points behind Kettering who occupy the final play-off spot.
This Saturday, Vauxhall travel to face Barrow. The Motormen have an amazing record at Holker Street, having won on each of their five previous visits - a sixth win would catapult them closer to the top five.
