IN the second round of the David Tracy Cup Lancelyn took Ellies into extra time and won 4-1.
Scorers for Lancelyn were Steve Corris with a brace, Andy Jones, and Greg Drummond. Ellies’ only scorer was Mike Wainwright.
Prenton Dell cruised through to the next round with a comfortable 3- 0 win over Tower FC, Dell scorers were Timmy Bigland with two, and Joe Septon.
Ashville Old Boys ground out a 2-1 away win against PSV with James Starkey and Ben Beard scoring for Ashville, PSV consolation came from Ryan Critchlow.
In the Tony Houlihan Memorial Challenge Cup third round, Dock FC beat Horse and Jocky away from home 2-1. Dock scorers were Mark Head, and Iggy McGraa. Liam Cairns scoring for Jockey.
In the Tony Smith Cup first round, FC Ridger hit five away from home winning 5-3 against Victoria Lodge.
Ridger’s goals came from I McCann with a fine hat-trick, and Josh Hatton and Josh Meadows. Lodge goal scorers were Liam Rose with a brace and Mike Bowe.
In the Premier Division, Heygarth drew 2-2 with Bidston Hotel.
Heygarth scorers were Craig Kavanagh and Steve Forbes.
Queens Park kept a clean sheet at home to Woodchurch winning 2-0.
Park scorers were Rob Courtenay and Craig Griffiths.
Finally, in the only game in division three, Arrowe Park hit four past New Ferry Rangers at home.
Arrowe Park scorers were Daniel Stewart with two, John Duddy and Phillip Hudson.
