PUPILS from a school in Liscard helped turned a blank shopping centre wall into a community mural.
Liscard Primary School students from Year 1 to 5 teamed up with Cherry Tree Shopping Centre and the charity YMCA to design and develop a mural on the shopping centre’s community wall.
The artwork, installed near B&M and Heron Foods, displays the pupils' favourite places around Wallasey.
Ruth Kavanagh, Centre Administrator at Cherry Tree Shopping Centre, said: “We are thrilled to be able to share these pictures from the children of Liscard Primary on the Community Wall here at the Cherry Tree Centre.
“The children were asked to show us what they love about living in Wallasey.
"The results are fantastic, and are something that our community can share and enjoy.”
Shoppers can see the mural in the Centre from Saturday, February 18.
