A TOTAL of 75 crewmen took part in the latest Liverpool Yacht Club races on the Mersey at the weekend. The strong winds did not materialise and it was a leisurely pace throughout.
Leyland Morris led the CHS section in Outrageous, but did not answer a premature start and handed victory to Richard Booth in Nod's New Car. John Gleeson in Salena was second and David Lee in Wave Sweeper third.
Mike Gray in Sparkey won the LBSA group ahead of Warwick Telfer in Clarevoyant.
