HAVING read the article 'Don't just sit there - vote!' (Wirral Globe, May 13) I feel compelled to comment.
Wirral Council leader, Dave Jackson, attacks people who didn't bother to vote at the local elections. I was one of those who didn't vote as I felt that I was insufficiently informed of the policies of the candidates concerned.
If all candidates had been 'bothered' to share their policies then I, as well as many others, would have been able to make an informed choice.
If the candidates can't be bothered, then the voters should not be shouldered with the blame.Southdene Road, Birkenhead
