A ROCK Ferry man said to have been acting as a go-between appeared before Wirral magistrates.
Michael Edward Hunnikin, aged 49, of Riviera Drive, admitted five charges of dishonesty undertaking or assisting in the handling of stolen goods including a petrol generator, various drills, portable generators, a water pump, a paint compressor, a stone cutter and a welding machine.
Prosecutor Clare Ion alleged he stored goods in his garage and ground off serial numbers. He then sold the items to police who were involved in an undercover operation.
Hunnikin was bailed until November 26 for a pre-sentence report to be prepared.
