PARTNERS Ian Cubbin and Paul North are the men who brought the Cherokee tribe over to live in Wirral as Jeep dealers for the area.

These tough but refined 4x4 vehicles are really at home here, especially at events like Storeton and Parkgate Horse Trials, events the partners in Cubbin and North support. Paul (right) with Paul Birtles is pictured at Storeton. Their demo vehicles carry distinctive number plates but there is no mistakinn the square set stance of a Jeep Cherokee.

The Cherokee has therefore become a familiar sight on our roads since arriving on the local scene in 1993. They enjoy a reputation second to none in the battle for sales with other well known tribes of 4x4 vehicles. What's more they retain their value.

Cubbin and North can supply new, or used Jeep Cherokee, including the top of the range Orvis model pictured at the bottom of the page.

There is a Jeep model to suit the pocket of everyone in the market for one. You will then be driving a legend. No other 4x4 has the heritage of Jeep, the tough little character that helped win the War for Americans. The army Jeep came over here with the Yanks in the 1940's, crude basic vehicles that could go anywhere. Who would have imagined then that it would become a cult, status symbol in Britain all these years later.
