THE MILLENNIUM bug and Millennium Dome might be ever popular conversation topics as we head towards the turn of the year, but Volvo's enhanced safety measures and changes for its model year 2000 cars are sure to see their share of the limelight.
Where the Volvo S70, V70 and C70 are concerned, the three most important new changes are two new 2.4-litre five-cylinder engines, front seats with the WHIPS whiplash protection system now standard on all models, and a more powerful 265bhp engine for the V70 R AWD.
The two new revised 2.4-litre, 20-valve five-cylinder engines offer major benefits compared with their predecessors.
