WHEN a guide dog was taken ill, a team of hairdressers proved to be pedigree chums to Isobel and owner Heidi McGeough, aged 28, of Victoria Drive, West Kirby.
Heidi was at the Ian Henry salon in Hoylake Road, Moreton, when Isobel was taken ill and suffered a convulsion.
Staff calmly removed the dog to a quiet part of the saloon and called a vet. "They did everything they could to reassure me and keep her comfortable," said Heidi. Isobel now seems fine again.
Hayley Furlong, of Ian Henry, said: "We were delighted to help Heidi. Isobel is a big favourite in the salon. We were upset when she became ill."
