FOR SALE - a home fit for a Lord. Lord Hunt of Wirral - the former Conservative MP for Hoylake - is selling his family home, a seven-bedroomed detached house in St Margaret's Road, Hoylake.
Lord and Lady Hunt's family have now grown up and flown the nest. The property is being sold by Heswall estate agent Clive Watkin and the asking price is £325,000 for the house set in half-an-acre.
The property, which has hosted some 23 Cabinet Ministers, is now too big for David and Paddy Hunt, who admit it will be a wrench to move from the house with views of Hilbre Island and the Welsh hills.
They are understood to be looking for a smaller property on the seafront at Hoylake and West Kirby for themselves and their 'pet' Frog Sprite sportscar.
