THE wit and wisdom of former Liverpool and England football captain Emlyn Hughes will be on offer at a fund-raising dinner in aid of the North West Cancer Research Fund at Liverpool Football Club on September 23.
Other attractions include Dr Kevin Jones, who combines being a consultant chest physician with an equally successful and hilarious career as an after-dinner speaker, and comedian Willie Miller.
The cost is £45 a head, with tickets available individually or for companies wanting to take a table seating 10.
