WOULD you like to do something exciting and raise money for ChildLine North West? If so, the ChildLine abseil event - 120 feet off the John Moore's University Tower Building in Byrom Street, Liverpool, on September 25, could be just what you are looking for!

The abseil event is taking place to raise money and awareness of the local work of ChildLine North West. All you have to do to enter is complete and return an entry form and raise a minimum of £50 per person in sponsorship money.

Anyone can take part (as long as you are over 16 years old) and no previous experience of abseiling is necessary. The event is supported by a professional abseiling company.

This is the first time ChildLine North West has organised an abseil in Liverpool and they hope to raise £8,000 from the event.

ChildLine is the free, national, 24-hour helpline for children in trouble, need or danger. Children call about every conceivable issue and it is estimated that approximately 24 per cent of the calls into the North West base come from children in Merseyside.

The free phone helpline number is 0800-1111.

For an abseil pack, contact Joanne or Delyth on 0161-834-9945.
