From Mrs J. Bates:-
AS the owner of three horses, I think drivers should give a lot more attention to horses and riders.
Unfortunately, we can't all live on the moors or close to a beach or have transport to ride somewhere safe away from traffic. But horses have been on the roads a lot longer than cars and, I believe, have right of way by law.
Drivers don't even show courtesy to each other, so us horse riders and horses have no chance. Such a shame.
