CHESHIRE motor traders are working in pathfinding partnership with Cheshire Trading Standards to help boost business opportunities and protect the industry's image.
During a seminar at County Hall in Chester, over 40 delegates from garages and motor retailers across the County heard advice on both to stay within the law, and deliver better quality services.
The event was organised jointly with the Retail Motor industry Federation as part of the County Council's commitment to working in partnership with local businesses.
"The object of the exercise is simply to promote customer confidence and so boost the County's economy by attracting more business," said Neil Pardoe, Cheshire's County Trading Standards Officer.
