I FOUND it quite upsetting that John M. Hart (Mailbox, August 25th) should think it lucky that his parents are dead, simply so that they are spared the sight of a mild swear word on the latest Austin Powers film advertisement.
Luckily, both my parents are still alive and both have a sense of humour.
