HOW I agree with John M. Hart (Mailbox, August 25th) regarding the Austin Powers advertisement.
I am not a prude, either, but if this goes on - ie swear words in public for all to see, including our children - then it is the thin edge of the wedge. Where will it all end? In Sodom and Gumorrah, that's where.
Thank God my parents are dead also. Come on, officialdom - pull your finger out!
