From 'Disappointed':-
LIKE 'Frustrated Tranmere Rovers Fan' (Mailbox, August 18th), I, too, am unemployed and equally disappointed at the decision to withdraw the concession card for the unemployed.
No-one who has the misfortune to be out of work and surviving on state benefits can afford to pay £13 to watch his/her local team. By withdrawing this concession, the club has effectively banned the unemployed from Prenton Park.
With an average 10,000 empty seats at every game, surely it makes economic sense for the club to re-introduce the concession, and thereby welcome us back to the ground?
