BRITAINS most popular executive saloon car, the BMW 5-Series, is now available as a 528i or a 535i Sport model. Special aerodynamic body styling, new alloy wheels and sports seats are just three of the features which distinguish the new models from standard.

Available in six colours, the new Sport models display a new front spoiler which carries styling cues from the newly-introduced M5 whilst the rear apron is cutaway to reveal the exhaust tailpipe. A discreet bootlid spoiler is also standard although this can be deleted from the specification.

The M light alloy wheels are unique to the Sport, and the remaining exterior identifiers are the clear indicator lenses and de-chroming around the windows.

Inside snug sports seats in anthracite Alcantara upholstery with a flat weave cloth are complemented by matt aluminium trim, an M multi-function steering wheel and anthracite headlining.

On the road prices for both models are £33,995 for the BMW 528i Sport and £35,215 for the BMW 528i Sport automatic. The new 7 Series sport packs are available in two non-metalic or five metalic paint colours at a price of £2,995 for the 728i and 735i and £2,595 for 740i and 750i models.
