V-REGISTRATION is not the only change for Audi, as the new plate will be accompanied by a host of changes across the Audi range in time for September, coupling enhanced performance with functionality.

Leading the show is a newcomer to the Audi A6 range, powered by a new version of the 2.7-litre twin turbo engine first used in the awesome Audi S4 quattro. From rest it can launch the A6 2.7T quattro from 0-60mph in 7.1 seconds and a top speed of 152mph.

The dynamic and executive Audi features remote central locking, electronic climate control with individual driver and passenger settings, electric front and rear windows and mirrors, electric seat height adjustment and front and side airbags for the driver and front passenger, all standard.

Features that lend a more purposeful air have also been added to the rest of the A6 range, with the ride composure, handling and balance of the new generation A6 maximised by lowered sports suspension, and 16-inch nine spoke alloy wheels have been joined by a front passenger airbag deactivation switch for use when a child seat is fitted, as standard features on all models, while SE versions gain a multi-function leather rim steering wheel incorporating stereo controls, while 2.4 SE and 2.5 TDI SE models also now feature cruise control and headlight washers.

Again providing dynamic performance with control, Audi's Electronic Stability Program (ESP) is now standard fitting for the A6 2.8 quattro, guaranteeing the highest possible degree of stability and driver control.

Supplementing the established 1.8T sport model, which already boasts outstanding performance and specification, the new A4 1.8T quattro Sport combines additional power and torque with Audi's renowned quattro permanent four-wheel drive system.
