From 'Disgusted':-
MY mother was cremated recently at Landican and the wreaths that were sent were missing the day after the funeral, much to my distress. We looked around the whole cemetery for three days following the funeral, but to no avail.
I had asked some people to send money to charity or flowers that we could send to the hospital, but the immediate family wanted to send wreaths, which did not last a full day on the Garden of Remembrance. If my mother knew, she would be so sad, as I am, that someone could do this. I can not understand why there are no patrols.
I have learned my lesson and it would not happen again.
I hope that other people hearing my story will not give these thieves the opportunity of gaining pleasure from some other person's sad loss.
