From P. Lawton:-
WHEN will someone repair the water tap in Section Q, close to where the spare soil is piled, at Frankby Cemetery? Readers may find this unbelievable - I find it quite unacceptable - that the tap has been running since last September!
To-date, I have made this request on four different occasions - two to the Cemetery offices and two to the Water Board.
Amazingly, the Water Board were not at all interested and told me it had absolutely nothing to do with them.
What must one do to stop this sheer waste? I have seen men removing soil from there on many occasions when they are filling in sunken graves, so it is not as if no-one sees it. The ground is almost a swamp, as you can imagine after all this time.
The person responsible should be severely reprimanded for allowing such a huge waste of precious water - and the Water Board should show a litte more interest, too!
