AN open meeting is to be held in St Laurence's Parish Centre in Claughton Road, Birkenhead, on Wednesday, April 18, starting at 7.30pm.
Developments of The Lauries Project, a new venture proposed by the community, will be discussed.
Flying start
CLWYD Aviation Group and the Griffin Trust have again joined forces to have another aviation enthusiasts' fair on Sunday, April 8, between 10am and 4pm.
The fair will be held in the ex-RAF Hooton Park hangars in Ellesmere Port. There will be various aircraft on display along with 60 stands selling aviation memorabilia.
Access to Hooton Park is signposted from Junction 6 of the M53 and car parking is free with adult admission being £2.50.
Shall we dance?
A SOCIAL ballroom dance takes place at St Stephen's Church Hall in Prenton Lane, Prenton, on Saturday, April 7. The event starts at 7.45pm and includes ballroom, Latin and popular sequence dances. Admission is £2.50, including refreshments. There is also a dance at the hall every Thursday evening. For details call 639-9901 or just go along on the night.
Lunch date
IRBY Lunch Club meets every Friday at 1pm at Irby Village Hall, Thingwall Road, Irby. New members are welcome.
