THE idea that a skate-board park should be situated on New Brighton's Tower Grounds is quite outrageous.
This is a quiet, peaceful spot and is fringed by houses on all but the promenade side. Noise from a skate-board park is unbearable. The area will entice drinkers and graffiti.
How can any council think of concreting over a lovely piece of grassland which contains lots of lovely wild birds and flowers?
