STAFF, pupils and parents of Mostyn House School are delighted with the findings of their most recent inspection.

The newly-published report by the Independent Schools Inspectorate recorded the quality of teaching and learning at the Parkgate School and praised pupils' attitudes and behaviour.

The school's pastoral care, governance and links with parents and the community were commended as well as its achievements in sport and extra-curricular activities.

Headmistress Suzi Grenfell said: "The inspection team confirmed everything that we believe about ourselves and we are thrilled that they have written so positively about all aspects of the school."

The report caps a successful year for Mostyn House which claimed the top slot in Cheshire's value added league table of GCSE results and had a successful accreditation inspection of its dyslexia unit.
