A TEAM of superheroes, aka campaigners from the Fathers 4 Justice organisation, staged a pre-Father's Day protest in Birkenhead last week.
Speaking during Friday's noisy demonstration, which took place outside council offices and the Land Registry building in Hamilton Street, Mike Green from Fathers 4 Justice said: "We just wanted to remind the Government that dads do exist and are just as important as mums.
"Five hundred fathers a week lose contact with their children, thousands of fathers will have an unhappy Fathers' Day. It's a disgrace.
"All we want is a change in the law, which gives fathers access to their children. Why should one parent have to go away?"
