NEXT week sees the start of the second annual Rocket Ronnie's Snooker Summer League.
After the success of last year's inaugural event, prize money has more than doubled to a total prize fund of more than £1,000.
All matches will be held at former World Snooker champion Ronnie O'Sullivan's snooker hall, Rocket Ronnie's, in King Street, Wallasey. Anyone wanting further information should ring 638-1570.
FIXTURES:
Group One - Tuesday, June 28: Old Swan CC v Village Driveways; Shepherds Rest v Curry's Bromborough Under-19s; Bronze v Latin Quarter; Green Party v Misscue.
Group Two - Wednesday, June 29: Southern Electric v Stickmen; K Club v OneGivesSeven; Grimfandango v Touching Cloth; Mercury Developments v Vanser Boys.
l Calling all ladies - a brilliant new free to enter Nine-ball pool competition starts next week at Rocket Ronnie's.
There are cash prizes for winners and runners-up each week. Ladies must be over 18.
