SIMON Wright has been voted the best young dentist in the North West.
Dr Wright, 32, from Glencairn Dental Practice in Bebington, picked up the prestigious honour at the 2009 Dentistry Awards.
He was among 500 dentists who attended the ceremony in Leicester.

The categories were split into nine regions across the UK - each recognising outstanding individuals, teams and practices.
Each region was presented with three awards - the Best Young Dentist, the Best Team and Best Practice.
Nominations were collated earlier in the year, with a select panel of judges finalising the shortlist and winners.
Dilys Quinlan, dental modernisation manager, added: "This Award is well deserved. Simon has boundless energy and is proactive and positive - he is a real asset to the Wirral dentistry team.
"Simon is also a General Dental Practitioner Lead on NHS Wirral's Dental Directorate Board."
