TRANMERE Rovers return to League One action tomorrow afternoon with an away game against Norwich City.

Caretaker manager Les Parry hopes his squad will return from Carrow Road on Saturday with its second away win in 15 league games.

Their next games, also away, are both against Leyton Orient - first in the FA Cup first round replay this Tuesday, November 17 and for League One action four days later, Saturday, November 21.

Looking ahead to the Norwich game, which starts at 3pm, Parry said: "Norwich are a massive club and I'm sure they'll think they're an upper championship club, and the support they get reflects that too."

Tomorrow's game will be the 21st time the two clubs have met in League action. Rovers were beaten 1-0 last time they went to Carrow Road.

Parry - who has hinted he could make a bid for the manager's role if his side brings in the results over the next three games - continued: "Our players should enjoy the day. They've got 22 superb players but they can only play 11 of them.

"It's a good challenge. We're going there with a point and our first aim will be to protect that point.

"If we keep it tight at the back and capitalise on one of the chances we create with a bit of luck we'll come away with three points."
